Summary of The Metacognition Class

Metacognition is the act of thinking about thinking, is thinking about your learning process and is very important in the learning process because it is an asset for everyone to know how they learn the best.

Metacognition mean by the ability we have to self-regulate their own learning, that is to plan what strategies were used in each situation, implement, monitor the process, evaluate it for faults and as a result ... Transfer all to a new action.
 Exist 3 stages of metacognition:
* Planing
*Monitoring
*Evaluating

 The self regulation is when you aware of your knowledge , you think about you know and you don´t know. Is important to know what is more difficult you're you to focus more on that.

Memorization is the basic function of the memory, where the students are given a specific information and asked to remember it in a specified way or other.

The Imput is all the information that the students receives and that includes the noises outside and all around it. The working memory is what the students saved in their memories at the moment of the class, the short term memory is what they remember in a short period of time and the log term memory is the meaningful learning . The teacher is in charge to active the previous knowledge of the students. The metacognitive reflection is achieved by the strategy, and there are many strategies but we can use depends on the learning style of the students.

There are many learning styles:

*Linguistic
*Logical-mathematical
*Spatial
*Musical
*Kinestetic
*Interpersonal ( good in work group)
*Intrapersonal (Self reflection)
*Naturalist
